Cookies policy

The short version
We aim to run safety-in-process.com without setting non-essential cookies. We don't use advertising cookies, social-media trackers, or analytics that depend on cookies. Because of this we don't display a cookie consent banner, there is nothing for you to consent to beyond strictly-necessary technical storage.
What we do use
- Strictly-necessary storage: small amounts of browser storage used only to make the website function. No cross-site tracking.
- Cloudflare security: our host may set a short-lived cookie (e.g.
__cf_bm) when it detects unusual traffic, to distinguish humans from automated bots. Classed as strictly necessary for site security. - Cloudflare Web Analytics: does NOT set cookies, does NOT fingerprint devices, and records only aggregate, non-identifying page metrics.
If this changes
If we ever add cookies that need consent (for example, YouTube embeds or a marketing tracker), we will deploy a UK GDPR-compliant consent banner before doing so. This page will be updated and cookies will only be set after you've explicitly accepted.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may cause parts of the site to behave unexpectedly.
